How SporTrivia Handles Information
This policy explains what the website collects, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.
This policy applies to the SporTrivia website. Mobile applications and business tools may provide additional notices when their data practices differ. Questions or deletion requests can be sent through the Contact page.
Information you provide
Gameplay can be used without creating a public account. If you choose to save a leaderboard result, SporTrivia stores the submitted display name, score information, game mode, sport, and an optional email address. The email is not required for ordinary gameplay.
The Contact page creates an email draft on your device. Information entered there is transmitted when you choose to send that email through your email provider. Business portal users may provide account, organization, question, and sponsorship information needed to operate those services.
Sessions, logs, and gameplay records
The website uses a session cookie to remember items such as the selected sport, current game state, and product recommendation position. Hosting and security systems may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and error logs.
Gameplay submissions and leaderboard records may be retained in cloud storage to calculate results, prevent duplicate processing, maintain public rankings, investigate errors, and improve the game. Public leaderboards use the submitted display name rather than publishing an email address.
Advertising and affiliate partners
On eligible editorial pages, Google AdSense may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to provide, measure, and personalize advertising where permitted. Third parties may place or read cookies as a result of ad serving. Shop and post-game merchandise links are affiliate links operated through Impact and Fanatics. Those services receive information normally associated with following a link, and they control their own checkout, account, order, and fulfillment data. SporTrivia may receive a commission and aggregated reporting about attributed activity.
Choices, retention, and contact
You can decline optional leaderboard email entry, clear browser cookies, use browser privacy controls, or avoid affiliate links. Where required, advertising consent choices are presented through a Google-certified consent platform. SporTrivia retains information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, operational records, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.
To ask about stored information, correct a leaderboard identity, or request deletion of information associated with your email, contact SporTrivia LLC through the Contact page. Verification may be required so one person cannot alter another player's records.
